Different casinos have different policies and rules. Some casinos may have the same color sign for minimum bets, on all the tables, while some will have a rule, that have half of their tables will not correspond to chip colors such as $10 and $15 games. In this case, there minimum bets will be starting from a higher limit like $25 or so. That is the reason why, it is important for a player to have proper knowledge about each color chip and its value, so that he is able to read and comprehend the table signs, before he finds himself a seat and places his bet.

So, next time you visit a casino, all you have to do is match the color of the chips with the table signs, and it will become easy for you to tell the minimum bet for a table in just a quick glance.
