There are a number of things a player should
keep in his mind while playing the game. Here are a few
tips to remember:
- A blackjack player competes only against the dealer
and not against any other players.
- Though there is a basic strategy which brings the edge
to a low level of about 1 % but a player can’t always
win. So accept losses as a part of game.
- Never acquire insurance when offered. Only take insurance
if you have a gut feeling that the dealer has blackjack,
or if you are card counting and aware of the cards remaining
in the deck.
- Know when to leave the table. A winning line cannot
last forever. Always set a limit and if you find yourself
losing then take a break and reserve your profits for
another game session.
- If playing blackjack with an intuitive nature a player
has an edge over between 3% to 6%.
