BRITISH AND AUSTRALIAN BINGO:

The bingo cards have three rows and nine columns. Each card will consist of fifteen numbers. These cards always come in ‘Books’ which may be either:

• single or
• multiple.

A single book will consist of ten 10 pages or ten cards each of different colour: Gold, Lime, Violet, Yellow, Pink, Grey, Orange, Blue, Red and White.

On other hand, a multiple book consists of 6 single books. Each page of a multiple book consists of 6 cards which are of same colour. These cards are then joined with perforated edges which can be pulled apart. A player who is experienced would like to play all the 6 books whereas an inexperienced player may only play one book or may be a single card.

Along with books, single sheet of bingo cards is also available with 6 sections and are called “Flyers”. Now it again depends upon a player to buy one section or all 6 sections depending upon the experience of a player. A flyer is more expensive than a book but the prizes won worth more.

These numbers are drawn until a player completes one of the following ‘Bingo Patterns’:

• A single line(row) numbers which may be top, middle, or bottom line(row)
• A house where all numbers on the card are marked.

Now, if a player completes either of the patterns mentioned above on the bingo card, player hits “BINGO” and wins a prize.

Since bingo is a game depending on luck so there is a very bleak chance to forecast the result or influence the same. But a player can keep following tips in mind while playing the game:

• Since bingo is a game of chance, so probability of all cards to win the game is same.
• A player should only play those many cards which can be managed comfortably. Though a player increases his chances of winning by buying more cards but at the same time total cost of the entire cards rise as compared to the amount that can be won which depends on chance.
